When I visited Laure in her beautiful home down a leafy cul-de-sac in Paris, she apologized for bringing me over to the not-quite-so-fashionable 15th arrondissement! “Why do you apologize?” I asked. “This is divine!” Laure lives in a building that was formerly an artist’s studio. In fact, the whole street was used by artists and must have been a lively little quartier at the beginning of the century. Today, each house has been renovated and the result is a series of chic, up-beat designer homes, each three stories high.

Renovating and redecorating homes is nothing new to Laure. She and her husband, Bertrand, have renovated six homes since they were married, gradually climbing the property ladder with their talent for contemporary interiors and sure eye for architectural design.
